This Privacy Policy describes how our website, cratersandfreightersgloballogistics.com (“Website”), and the crating, packaging, and shipping services offered through the Website (the “Services”) Craters and Freighters Platinum, Inc. d/b/a Craters & Freighters Global Logistics, a Colorado corporation (“Company”, “us”, “we” or “our”), or, where applicable, Craters and Freighters Franchise Company (“Franchisor”), or any of Franchisor’s franchisees listed on the Website (“Franchisees”), collect, use and disclose personal information and what choices you have with respect to that information. “Personal Information” as used in this Privacy Policy refers to information that personally identifies you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address and IP address, and as otherwise defined by applicable privacy laws. Do Not Track Signals. The Website does not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals. Third party applications and plugins, such as social media integration, may treat DNT signals differently.

No Information From Children Under Age 18. The Website is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share information of anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under the age of 18, we will promptly delete that information. Disclosure to Franchisees. We share all of the information we collect with Franchisor’s Franchisees, as part of our nationwide system. We disclose information, including Personal Information, to Franchisor’s Franchisees as part of our regular business to ensure that service and order requests are sent to the right parties, maintain and operate our Services and general business operations, and for marketing initiatives and quality control efforts.

Disclosure to Third Party Providers and Subprocessors. We engage third party service providers or data subprocessors to assist in providing analytics, data storage, and other services. We also use third parties to provide, maintain, and improve the Website.

Disclosure for Legal Requirements. We may disclose your Personal Information to respond to legal requirements, to protect or enforce our rights and policies, to protect or enforce the rights of a third party, to prevent harm to a person or as required or permitted by law, including, without limitation, to comply with a subpoena or court order.

Storage and Retention

Your Personal Information is stored by the Company on its servers and on the servers of the cloud-based data storage providers it engages. Company retains Personal Information for the duration of its business relationship with you, for the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy, in the case of Personal Information contained in or from the use of the Services, for up to 15 years after the conclusion of Company’s relationship with you, except as otherwise necessary, and for such other periods as required by law, which may be indefinitely.

Data Security

We take the privacy of your information seriously. We use industry standard physical, technical, and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information. However, the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, and it is your responsibility to protect the security of your account and login information.

Consumer Requests; Do Not Sell or Share Requests

Supplemental Notice for California Consumers

Shine the Light. While we may share any of the Personal Information that Company, Franchisor, and/or Franchisor’s Franchisees collect for those purposes, we do not otherwise “sell” any consumers’ personal information.

  2. Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our Website, or when you contact a different Franchisee of Franchisor or other member of the franchise group.
  3. Indirectly from you via public records. For example, from third party services we use to correct shipping addresses.
  4. From third parties. For example, from our marketing and remarketing services disclosed above.

Commercial Purpose for Collection. We collect California consumers’ Personal Information for the purposes enumerated in this Privacy Policy, as discussed in detail above, including to operate the Website and the Services, to communicate with customers concerning our Services, monitor leads, marketing, email campaigns, and remarketing efforts, and to ensure the quality and security of our Website and the Services.

  2. Franchisor’s Franchisees, as part of normal operations of our nationwide system, including to ensure that the Services are provided by the correct Franchisee, ensure the quality of their franchise operations, and respond to customer requests and complaints.
  3. Marketing services, to provide relevant advertising to potential and existing customers.

EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation

The European Union’s and United Kingdom’s GDPR provides certain rights to online users located in EU countries or the UK (“Data Subjects”). Data Subjects have the right to access or rectify their Personal Information that Company processes. Subject to certain exceptions, a Data Subject has the right to request that Company erase that Personal Information or restrict or object to the processing of it. When technically feasible, Company will, at the Data Subject’s request, provide that person’s Personal Information to them or transmit it directly to another data controller. Additionally, Data Subjects also have the right to appeal a decision we have made regarding the exercise of their privacy rights and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in their country of residence, place of work, or where an incident took place.
